Post Ideas For July
Jun 15, 2023
July is packed with fun days for you to make the most of on social media. Let’s get into it:
- July 4th: Independence Day
This is an easy one! Put together a post wishing everyone a safe and fun-filled holiday weekend. Most importantly, let them know if you’ll be closed any additional days and when they can expect to see you back in the office.
- July 6: International Kissing Day
It might not seem super obvious, but International Kissing Day is a silly holiday that you can tap on for content and engagement. You just have to get creative with it:
- Run a giveaway and prompt your followers to tag someone they’d like to smooch in the comments
- “Blow a kiss” to your audience by giving them 10% off a certain product, collection, or service
- Ask your followers to send a “kiss” your way by tagging your account in a story featuring your product – be sure to thank them with a discount code
- July 7: Chocolate Day
Who doesn’t love a day centered on one of the greatest food groups? Yeah, we’re counting chocolate as a food group. For Chocolate Day, utilize the following CTA: “Let us know in the comments below which kind of chocolate is your favorite 👇.” If you’re feeling up to it, you could also run a poll in your stories.
- July 15: Give Something Away Day
In the spirit of Give Something Away Day, join in on the fun and give something away! You could run a giveaway on socials or plan a promotion.
- July 17: World Emoji Day
World Emoji Day is the perfect opportunity to get your followers to engage. Similar to Chocolate Day, utilize this day for a CTA: “It’s World Emoji Day! Drop your top 5 emojis below ⬇”
- July 21: National Ice Cream Day
Jeez, July is packing on the days focused on our favorite foods (if you can’t tell, the Small Studio team loves all things sweet). This day is another opportunity to encourage engagement from your audience. Ask them to share their favorite ice cream flavor in the comments, run a poll in your stories, or get creative with a promotion. You could invite your customers to “build” an ice cream cone consisting of three products from your website and offer the sweet deal of 20% off for their efforts.
- July 30: International Friendship Day
On International Friendship Day, consider getting sentimental. Share with your audience a friend who has supported your business journey from Day 1 – showcase your appreciation for this individual and give us some insight into your beautiful friendship. This offers your followers an opportunity to know you a little better, too.
And just like that, you’ve got 7 ideas to post about for July. Next? Putting these posts together. We believe in you!
