July National Days

With summer in full swing, we're all about finding ways to make planning social media posts a little easier so you can get back to fun in the sun. Here are 7 holidays in July to inspire your social posts:

June 2: Disco Day
We're partial to this one because we love all things groovy here at Small Studio. So let this be a lesson to you: You can always check out nationaltoday.com to see what holidays really speak to you as an individual or business. You might be surprised by what inspires you!

July 4: Independence Day
Show some love for the red, white, and blue. Wish your followers a Happy 4th, or highlight some of the activities that surround the day, like backyard BBQs, parades, and fireworks. If you can tie it back to something related to your industry, great—if not, simple well-wishes are perfect.

July 14: Bastille Day
Bonjour les francophiles! If you're a lover of all things French, then you likely already have Bastille Day on your radar. This would be a fun opportunity to share a behind-the-scenes look at your team, perhaps highlighting that one team member who can't stop talking about their trip to Paris.

July 17: World Emoji Day
This one's a no-brainer to celebrate on social media and encourage some engagement. Prompt people to post their favorite emoji in an in-feed caption, or host a bracket-style showdown in your stories to see which emoji is the ultimate winner.

July 17: National Ice Cream Day
Not feeling World Emoji Day? July 17 is also World Ice Cream Day—a perfect excuse to take the team out for a scoop of something sweet. Post to your stories to share a behind-the-scenes look at the fun you're having, highlighting each team member's favorite flavor.

July 21: Get to Know Your Customers Day
We love this one for business owners as a reminder to check in with your followers (AKA customers or potential customers) on social media. Use story stickers: Prompt your followers to leave their questions, poll your audience, quiz people, and so on. Think about what you want to learn about the people in your community and use story stickers to get some answers.

July 30: International Day of Friendship
Are you lucky enough to work with a team you consider true friends? If so, shout that from the rooftops today! If you're a solopreneur going it alone, you can still call out those wonderful friends of yours who have supported you along your journey.
